Stayed at a hipster's dream cottage with free WiFi. The airport was conveniently far away, and I had a blast cycling near the property. Washing clothes and sitting on a sofa were such thrilling activities, can't wait to do it again!
Oh, I just loved parking on the main road with no designated area. So thrilling and convenient, just what I look for in a holiday!

Beautifully renovated cottage with thoughtful welcome pack, cozy and warm during cold weather, comfortable beds and strong ensuite shower. Great location near shops, pubs, and restaurants. Highly recommended for its charm and friendly locals.

The Dovecote in Pickering had not one, but two bathrooms with a bath or shower! I felt like a king/queen, being able to choose between a relaxing soak or a quick and refreshing shower. It was the ultimate luxury for a tired traveler like me.
Personally, I found the design of the bathrooms a bit outdated. But hey, that's just my own taste.

We had a wonderful stay at Dovecote, a beautifully renovated cottage in a central location. The welcome pack was a thoughtful touch, and the cottage was spotlessly clean. Despite the cold weather, we were warm and comfortable, and the ensuite shower was fantastic. The beds were also very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The cottage's recycling facilities and outdoor seating area were a bonus. The friendly town and proximity to shops, pubs, and restaurants made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

I absolutely loved the warm and cozy atmosphere of the cottage. The beautiful decoration and comfortable furniture made me feel right at home. The entire place was very accessible for senior people like me, with everything I needed within easy reach. I also appreciated the lovely private courtyard garden, where I could relax and enjoy the view of the nearby steam railway.
The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for seniors is a designated parking area. It would have been more convenient if there was a clear place for guests to park their cars, especially for older guests like me.

The location of the cottage is fantastic, just a short walk away from charming shops, pubs, and restaurants. The rooms are spacious and well-maintained, providing a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. The ensuite bathroom offers a super strong shower, perfect for a refreshing start to the day. The cottage also features a private courtyard garden with beautiful views of the surrounding area.
One minor drawback is the lack of street lighting on the pathway leading to the property. This can make it slightly challenging for older guests, especially when carrying luggage or belongings.
